Welcome to Galo Car Rental! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our car rental services in Albania. By renting a vehicle from Galo Car Rental, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to rent a car from Galo.

1.2 You must possess a valid driver's license and a major credit card in your name.

1.3 You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the rental process.

2. Rental Period

2.1 The rental period begins at the time and date specified in the rental agreement.

2.2 The rental period ends when the vehicle is returned to the designated location specified in the rental agreement.

2.3 Late returns may be subject to additional fees.

3. Vehicle Use

3.1 You agree to use the vehicle only for lawful purposes and in a safe and responsible manner.

3.2 You must not use the vehicle for commercial purposes, to tow other vehicles, or to participate in any illegal activities.

3.3 You are responsible for any fines, penalties, or violations incurred during the rental period.

4. Payment

4.1 Rental fees are due at the time of booking or as otherwise specified in the rental agreement.

4.2 You agree to pay all charges, including rental fees, taxes, and any additional fees for optional services or equipment.

4.3 A security deposit may be required at the time of rental and will be refunded upon return of the vehicle in the same condition as rented, subject to any deductions for damages or additional charges.

5. Insurance and Liability

5.1 Galo Car Rental provides basic insurance coverage as required by law.

5.2 You may be offered additional insurance options for an extra fee.

5.3 You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle not covered by insurance, including but not limited to collision, theft, or vandalism.

6. Maintenance and Repairs

6.1 You agree to take reasonable care of the vehicle and to notify Galo immediately of any mechanical issues or damages.

6.2 You must not perform any repairs or modifications to the vehicle without Galo's prior consent.

6.3 Galo is responsible for routine maintenance and repairs due to normal wear and tear.

7. Fuel Policy

7.1 The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank.

7.2 If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, you may be charged for the missing fuel at a rate specified in the rental agreement.

8. Cancellation and Changes

8.1 Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the rental start date are eligible for a full refund.

8.2 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental start date may be subject to a cancellation fee.

8.3 Changes to the rental agreement, including extensions, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

9. Termination

9.1 Galo reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement at any time for breach of these Terms or for any unlawful or unsafe use of the vehicle.

9.2 Upon termination, you must return the vehicle immediately to the designated location.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Albania.

10.2 Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the rental agreement will be resolved in the courts of Albania.
